flag flying upside down
Do the ends justify the means?
By Deb
There is all the hoopla about immigration. I agree the topic needs
attention. I have two main concerns:
1) Illegal immigration – The first thing they are doing when they get to
this country is breaking the law.
2) Security – who knows who is coming and going and what they are
brining with them. (terrorists, drugs, kidnapings, etc)
The biggest justification I hear for people breaking this law is that
they are just looking for a better life. So, does that mean if I want a
better life for my family it is ok to go rob a bank? After all, I’m just
looking for a better quality of life! What is the difference?

Amy Proctor had this to say:
What they [photos of the protests] say to me is illegal immigrants: 1)
Hate America. 2) Love Mexico (so why are they in America?). 3) Want to
make America a prosperous version of Mexico 4) Are the new Democrat
voting base.
From California Conservative:
Whittier area students from Pioneer, California and Whittier high
schools walked out of classes to protest the proposed federal
immigration bill March 27, 2006. The protestors put up the Mexican flag
over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High. (Leo
Jarzomb/Staff photo)
You don't have to be a Republican or a conservative to
see that this is WRONG WRONG WRONG:
You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the New
York Times or as the lead story on any of the major news networks.
The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying
upside down at Montebello High School in California.
